En 1937, Amelia Earhart et son navigateur Fred Noonan disparaissent dans le Pacifique lors d'une tentative de tour du monde. Près de 90 ans plus tard, l'épave n'a toujours pas été retrouvée. Mais les raisons de cette disparition, elles, sont bien moins mystérieuses qu'on ne le croit.
Dans cette vidéo, je vous propose une reconstitution rigoureuse du vol final, basée sur les travaux d'Elgen Long, pilote aux nombreux records et auteur du livre "Amelia Earhart : The Mystery Solved". Cette analyse s'appuie sur des archives, des témoignages directs et des calculs de navigation précis pour expliquer, étape par étape, comment une accumulation de malchance et d'erreurs humaines a conduit deux aviateurs expérimentés à manquer de quelques kilomètres une île minuscule, après plus de 20 heures de vol au-dessus du Pacifique.
