CHRIS MILLER CONFIRMS LEAKED SPIDER-MAN BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE TRAILER IS REAL! ?

What's up Geekly Goods fam! ? Christopher Miller has confirmed that the leaked Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse trailer circulating online is indeed real, though he made it clear he's not happy about it.
Miller took to X, writing, "Not a fan of leaks of unfinished, not fully rendered footage." The leaked material runs about four and a half minutes, opening right where Across the Spider-Verse left off, with Miles Morales being confronted by both his Uncle Aaron and an alternate-reality version of himself. Some fans have been pretty harsh about how Miles' design looks unfinished in this footage, but it's important to remember this genuinely isn't the final, fully rendered version of the film. It appears to be work-in-progress footage originally shown to industry insiders at CinemaCon back in April, never intended for public release in this state.
This is actually part of a much bigger pattern this year too, with both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day suffering similar post-release leaks, and Avatar: The Last Airbender even leaking months ahead of its Paramount+ debut earlier this year, an incident that led to an actual arrest.
