5 Things I LOVED About the New Harry Potter HBO Trailer
The NEW Harry Potter HBO trailer is here… and there’s A LOT to talk about. ⚡️
After watching the latest trailer for HBO’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone series, these are the 5 things that stood out to me the MOST!
From the performances of the brand-new cast - especially Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton as Harry, Ron and Hermione - to the incredible little details that show just how much more of the Wizarding World HBO can explore, there’s already plenty to get excited about.
We even see Ron Weasley actually receive his Hogwarts letter at The Burrow. It’s a scene we never saw in the original movie adaptation, and it’s exactly the kind of extra material that makes this series so exciting for book fans.
I also want to talk about some of the HUGE surprises hidden throughout the trailer - including that mysterious magical bridge, who we can see running across it, and what these brand-new moments could mean for the series.
And finally… HOGWARTS. ?
The overall look and atmosphere of Hogwarts in this new trailer might be one of my favourite things about the entire reboot. After growing up with the original films, seeing this world reimagined for HBO is genuinely surreal.
