The Magic of Disney Animation officially opens September 14th, and we got an early look inside this exciting new experience coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! ??
My family and I were invited to be guests of a Disney Cast Member during one of the special preview dates for The Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios. I was out of town for my friend’s wedding during the preview event. My parents stepped in and filmed a special takeover vlog for the channel! During this Disney Cast Member preview, we got to explore the brand new Magic of Disney Animation and see several of the experiences that will be available when the space officially opens at Disney World.
? OLAF DRAWS
We got to experience Olaf Draws, the brand new version of the classic Animation Academy experience. Guests can learn how to draw a Disney character alongside Olaf in this fun, interactive animation experience. If you remember the Animation Academy from the original Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this is an exciting new take on that classic experience!
? OFF THE PAGE!
We also got a look at Off the Page!, which will become a Disney character meet and greet area once The Magic of Disney Animation officially opens. This new space brings Disney animation and characters together in a really fun setting.
? DRAWN TO WONDERLAND
Drawn to Wonderland is a brand new indoor playground inspired by the world of Disney animation. This colorful play space gives younger guests a chance to explore, play, and interact with the environment.
? DISNEY ONCE UPON A STUDIO THEATER
We also checked out the Disney Once Upon a Studio Theater, another part of this new Magic of Disney Animation experience at Hollywood Studios.
My parents absolutely LOVED The Magic of Disney Animation and said the entire space reminded them of the classic Hollywood Studios atmosphere. They also felt that the new area pays tribute to the original Disney-MGM Studios, which makes this update especially exciting for longtime Disney fans who remember the park’s original identity and focus on movies, animation, and Hollywood.
The Magic of Disney Animation is bringing animation back into the spotlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and I cannot wait to experience this new Disney World attraction and entertainment space for myself!
