Pokémon Emerald 3DS is a free, non-commercial project with publicly available source code that brings the original Game Boy Advance adventure to Nintendo 3DS, taking advantage of its dual screens, touch controls, stereoscopic 3D, and much more.
With v0.5.0, Emerald 3DS officially enters BETA!
*What's new in v0.5.0?*
- Almost all of Hoenn in voxel 3D, including nearly every interior, all gyms, the Pokémon League, and the Battle Frontier.
- Completely redesigned bottom screen with direct access to every section.
- New party, summary, Bag, and Pokédex menus adapted to the touch screen's resolution, with optional classic menus.
- Zoomable map with location details and touch controls for choosing your Fly destination.
- Patching in seconds instead of minutes!
- Brazilian Portuguese support, plus experimental German and Japanese support.
- Optional Nuzlocke tracker to manually record catches, fallen Pokémon, and level caps.
- Built-in randomizer for wild Pokémon, starters, and trainers' teams.
- Rain, sandstorms, and volcanic ash integrated into the 3D world.
- Adjustable battle speed from 1x to 4x.
- Improved touch controls for selecting targets in double battles.
- New top-screen Pokédex presentation with stereoscopic 3D.
- Optional wild Pokémon encounter information and a remaining Repel steps counter.
- Settings reorganized into categories.
